Alliance Tournament XXII begins with the Preliminaries tournament, using a brand-new Swiss system to reduce a whopping 58 teams to a top 16 for the finals after 204 matches, for the finals live broadcast in Nottingham. This year, the Amarr have been selected as the tournament sponsor and have added a flavoring to this year's point reductions and ruleset.
